Tappeiner Trail

This high-level promenade is undoubtedly one of Europe’s most beautiful walks. The path offers plenty of sunshine and, at an average altitude of 380 metres, offers magnificent views over the city’s rooftops and across the entire Burggrafenamt region.

The trail, approximately four kilometres long, leads from the Gilf Promenade via the slopes of the Küchelberg hill to Gratsch. Alongside native flora, you’ll also find lush Mediterranean vegetation such as various species of palm and bamboo, and even exotic plants.
